I believe the skills to navigate careers are essential skills everyone needs to know. I took my career on an international adventure to the Netherlands in 2005 and applied these skills in my own international transition. Within two years in the Netherlands I was again delivering career development training as a freelancer, but this time in Dutch. In 2009 I incorporated the transition to motherhood into my career.

A Certified Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) and co-author of A Career in Your Suitcase fourth edition, I can teach you the skills you need to navigate your career across international borders, occupational boundaries, economic shifts and life transitions. My focus is to assist people to make personally meaningful career choices. I am passionate about helping you make career choices based on your values, personality, strengths, and interests (not just what’s hot in the labour market) for a satisfying and rewarding future.

I am a member of NOLOC, the association of career professionals in the Netherlands, and in 2009 I became a certified NLP practitioner.

In my leisure life, I am an outdoor enthusiast, musician, and traveller.

Opportunities are usually disguised as hard work, so most people don’t recognize them. –– Ann Landers
