Develop Your Professional Portfolio
Do you think a portfolio is just for architects, models, actors or artists? Now people from all walks of life can use a portfolio. In a globalising world where many people will work on a contract basis for more than one employer, a portfolio acts as a ‘personnel file’, empowers career development and supports work search.

Creating a portfolio:

  • Increases awareness of skills and accomplishments
  • Collects, organizes and protects documents
  • Provides potential employers the opportunity to see proof of skills if shown during an interview process
  • Provides a more three-dimensional impression while still using a two-dimensional medium
  • Profiles transferrable skills, creating a practical tool for people making career transitions

For Whom: This workshop is for people who are choosing a (new) career direction, for people who are actively applying for work, students transitioning from school to work and for those who need to rediscover the red thread of their career.

Delivery style: interactive and hands-on

Workshop Length: Depending on the length of the workshop scheduled, participants will have the opportunity to start to develop their own portfolio during the workshop itself. Ideal length: 1 to 3 hours.

Participant Feedback:

“Value for money! Personal insight + tools to go forward/evolve personally and professionally.”

“Very important for me at this point. Portfolio opened my eyes. To let go a bit and open up to new possibilities.”
